The actress of the moment was born Anne Marie Wersching and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Her early career was in the entertainment business. She started performing in local theatres, then danced in a St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers troupe for 14 years. When she moved to Chicago where she performed, she appeared in various touring plays as well as performed at the Utah Shakespearean Festival.
